the CRITERION COLLECTION guy art directed THE COMICS JOURNAL 301. i like all the text on the spine rather than on the cover, which is very cartoony and graphic robert crumb work. the compact size and the dry paper, which makes it easy to turn the pages, are also a plus. and it’s jam packed with great interviews done by intriguing interviewers.  photo by chris anthony diaz & graham willcox
